What do the two switches do?
The side switch handles everyday use: on, off, and changing brightness. The tail switch gives you instant High, and holding it gives momentary light that turns off when you let go.
Can I use a regular 18650 battery?
No. It needs Olight's customized 3,500 mAh 18650, which is included. Standard 18650 batteries won't work.
How do I charge it?
Two ways: the included magnetic cable snaps onto the tail, or unscrew the tail cap to reach the built-in USB-C port. A USB-C cable isn't included.
How long does the battery last?
About 3 hours on High, 18 hours on Medium, and up to 100 days on Moonlight.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. It's rated IPX8, so it can handle rain and being submerged.
How do I keep it from turning on in my pocket?
Use the lockout. With the light off, keep holding the side switch past Moonlight until it locks. Hold the side switch for over 2 seconds to unlock.
